 It's Time To Renew Your REC Membership  
July is the perfect time to renew your REC membership. Renew in July and receive either two free guest passes to The REC or four free guest passes to Dove Waterpark or Pleasant Glade Pool.

Grapevine Parks & Recreation is offering over 50 summer camps for your kids to #GoExplore our parks, #GoPlay a new sport and #GoLearn new skills!  These unique summer camps are sure to cater to your child’s specific interests.  iNaturalist Explorers - Saturday, July 7 
Enjoy an early morning guided nature walk with plant ecologist, Suzanne Tuttle, former manager of the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge. We will focus on discovering the hardy plants that survive and flower in Texas summers and use the iNaturalist app to document plant diversity and share our discoveries online with other naturalists. All ages welcome. Smart phones are helpful but are not required.  Higher Goals Youth Basketball Summer Camp - Monday, July 16  
Grapevine Parks and Recreation has teamed up with Higher Goals to host its Summer Youth Basketball Camps. The camp is offered to boys and girls ages 7-15, of all skill levels. The camp is a great mix of fun and learning and provides a great way to stay in shape during the summer break. The full week of camp fee is $150 or $35/daily. Dates and Locations: July 16-20 at Heritage Middle School, 5300 Heritage Avenue, Colleyville and August 6-10 at Faith Elementary, 30 East Worth Street  
 Happy to Help Saturdays – Saturday, July 28 
Give back to your community by volunteering in Grapevine’s parks. On the fourth Saturday of each month through September, volunteers are invited to participate in various projects that will benefit the environment and improve the appearance of our community. Projects may include painting, planting, removal of invasive plants and litter collection. Volunteer alongside others working to improve our environment and enjoy being outdoors.  10th Annual SummerBlast – Through Monday, September 3
SummerBlast kicked-off on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and will take place through Labor Day weekend. Grapevine's SummerBlast features fun for the whole family including special exhibits, outdoor activities, dining, shopping, hotel packages, water parks, spray grounds, and amazing fireworks EVERY FRIDAY night (through August 31), and the 36th Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza.
